New 2024 Buick Enclave in Thornhill, ON

The 2024 Buick Enclave is a model that straddles the divide between mass-market and full-blown luxury, which helps to place it in a class of its own. But although the Enclave has a foot in both camps – so to speak – it’s hard to see it as anything other than leaning closer toward the luxury end of the spectrum. The exterior styling is fresh, modern, and classy, and it’s more of the same when you step inside.

The interior is subtle and understated, but it’s impossible to ignore the premium look and feel of the impressive cabin. Two chairs in the second row restrict the maximum seating capacity to a spacious seven. Enclave offers a class-best maximum cargo capacity of 2,758 litres when the second and third-row seats get folded away. Unlike many other three-row midsize SUVs, the Enclave’s third-row seats are big enough to accommodate adults.

The standard specification of the Essence trim makes a mockery of its “entry-level” status. Some rivals’ mid-range and higher trim levels struggle to match Enclave’s base specification. Standard features include heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless open and start, perforated leather upholstery, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Of course, the Premium and Avenir versions of the 2024 Enclave take it to another level entirely. The mid-range and top trims come with a standard Bose performance-enhanced premium 10-speaker sound system, navigation, rear camera mirror, HD Surround Vision, a head-up display, and more. All models also get an impressive set of standard safety features, including front & rear park assist, front pedestrian braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert.
